Mermaid nails

What I wore to school last week. I got a lot of comments about my shirt being ripped and how I did it, maybe I'll see some on others soon.

Painted my nails a kooky greenish color after mixing some polish. They turned out to be a pretty cool color. Too bad it's not an actual color so I can fix my nails when they chip, which tends to be about a half hour later when I scrap them on something.
I went to Red Robbin yesterday with friends, it was so delicious. After that, Sarah and I made a pit stop at Target and picked up some ice cream..well after shopping a bit through the make-up aisle and pulling ourselves away from magazines, books, and movies. I also made my friend Hayden come over because we never get to see him anymore. Not that we really did anything fun, but I think that being together is enjoyable enough. We spent the night watching Troy and The Soup and talking of pointless things that are still fun to talk about.
Do anything fun so far this weekend? Anything dreadful?

The busy archer

Yesterday was a very happy Valentines day for me! I had slept over at a friends house the night before and then went straight to work in the morning. When I got home, there were a dozen roses waiting for me with a note. It was such a sweet surprise and I couldn't stop smiling all day haha I felt like such a loser but I didn't really care. Too bad I couldn't actually see him that day since he is at college =( They are so beautiful though.
Later that night I went to my friend Brooke's house. The night was full of craziness, just what I needed. I made some delectable cookies too.. well only half of what the box provides considering we all ate most of the batter before I could even put them on the cookie sheet.

Oh geez.

I apologize for my pathetic amount of blogging lately. I'll get back into the swing of things once my tremendously busy schedule simmers down a bit. Until then, I'd love for you to bare with me!

Here are some pictures though. I took them for my senior project. I'm making a magazine about how to dress for your body type..hopefully it will turn out nicely! They still need some touching up, but oh well.

Here's what I have been up to lately!

Hanging out at a friends house..

sorry for lack of posting. school has not been a breeze since it was finals week. I'm going to be super busy actually. I'm doing hair and makeup for our school musical and I also just got a job. Cheer was supposed to be over, but the basketball team made the playoffs so that won't cease yet. I haven't hung out with people in weeks, it sucks being so busy. Then this weekend, I'm going to OU for sibs weekend. Hopefully it'll be fun! I should still have a little of Sunday...

Here we go Steelers, here we go

LET'S GO STEELERS!!

Twas the night before the Super Bowl, when along the gulf shore,
Steelers fans were praying for “just one more;”

The players were nestled all snug in the sack,
With visions of the first NFL Six-Pack;

Coach Tomlin was young, but wise for his years,
So I drifted off to sleep without any fears;

When at the stadium there arose some strange chatter,
The Cardinals feared, what was the matter;

We heard “Okel Dokel”, we heard “Double Yoi,”
We jumped from our beds, our hearts jumped for joy;

He stood at the fifty with a grin ear to ear,
Steelers fans everywhere started to cheer;

Then in an instant to our surprise,
This little old man had tears in his eyes;

He went to the booth and there took his chair,
While Terrible Towels waved in the air;

Then over the airwaves came his shrill voice,
The Steelers Nation began to rejoice;

He said, “I am back, but you know I can’t stay,
I just had to see my Steelers play;

From my home up above, I have a great view,
But I wanted to celebrate here with you;

So bring on the Birds, we’ll send them a flyin’,
On the way back to Phoenix, they will be cryin’;

Ben, Hines, Troy, Jeff and all of the rest,
No matter the outcome, to me you’re the best;”

The airwaves went silent, the stadium still,
Was this just a dream, it seemed so real;

In our team we have faith, in our team we have hope,
But the game’s not the same without Myron Cope;

Getting pumped up for the game! Go STEELERS!!
